Looking For A Keyword Research Course To Help You Find The Best Keywords For Online Advertising?

Looking for a Course to help you find the best keywords for online advertising

This course covers everything you need to get started. The who, what, when, where, why and how of keyword research.

If you are having trouble figuring out how to find targeted keywords, this course is for you.

If you want to know which tools to use, this course is for you.

Check it out! You are gonna love it icon wink Looking For A Keyword Research Course To Help You Find The Best Keywords For Online Advertising?

Keyword research is such an important, if not the most important, part of Internet Marketing.

If you’re not using the right keywords to attract your ideal client, you might as well close your doors.

keyword research seo tools 300x249 Looking For A Keyword Research Course To Help You Find The Best Keywords For Online Advertising?

We’ve all heard that the money is in the list, so how do you attract the people to your list?

and… What does the Law of Attraction have to do with keywords and keyword research?

It may help to think of it this way…

Keywords are thoughts (expressed energy).

Thoughts on the Internet are expressed in words posted and words search for
whether they are in actual written words, audio, , or even images.

Keywords are the expressed energy (thoughts) which attract your target market on the Internet.

They are what attracts your ideal client to your site.

What kind of visitors do you think you get if you are not intentionally attracting your ideal client?

You get bounces or information gatherers and not buyers…

You might get some buyers, however you won’t be attracting the ideal client that you could be when using the keywords that your ideal client is looking for.

What are the right keywords?

Let’s say you’re marketing ice,

and that somebody out there wants a cold drink and needs ice to make that happen,

but they don’t know that ice will solve their problem or that ice even exists,

they only know they want a cold drink.

The people looking for a cold drink won’t search for ice,

even though ice is the solution for the cold drink problem.

Your challenge is to be where the cold drink people are…
They haven’t heard of ice yet.

Because the cold drink people are looking for the cold drink and not the ice.

It’s your job to introduce ice to the cold drink people (your ideal client) in a way that makes them realize that ice is what they’ve been looking for all along.

If you are in the Mall yellin’ – “Ice, Ice Baby” on Mall Walker Sunday,

you’d be better off stayin’ in bed.

To connect with your ideal client, you want to be where your ideal client is.

If your keywords are the words you use to describe your service or product

and are not the ones that your ideal client is using or even looking for…

The keyword attraction is missed.

So, how do you attract your ideal clients?

It’s easy…

You just use the words your ideal client is using!

How do you know what words they are using?

Research, research, research, research…

What tools should you use in researching keywords?

There are many many SEO tools that you can use (all are not created equally):

  • A tool based on WordTrackers analysis
  •  (not their Keyword search)
  • A spreadsheet for calculating projected traffic

Who is using those keywords?

  • Figure out if its:
    • Your ideal client?
    • Your competition?
    • Or the information gatherer?

Where do you use the keywords you’ve found?

  • There are several places in each post you must use this keyword for effective SEO.
    • The title
    • The body
    • The tags

Now that you have some idea of what is involved in doing Keyword Research,

you can see why companies charge well over $300 to do it for you.

Would you like to learn how to do it yourself and save that $300?

And in all reality you need to update your keywords every 3 months

So you would actually be saving $1,200 per year.

Do you like the sound of saving $1,200 per year?

Wouldn’t it be nice if you had someone to take you by the hand to:

Point out which tools to use (and yes you can use free tools effectively)?

The answer is: Yes!

Show you how to discover what keywords your ideal client is using?

Give you a spreadsheet pre-filled with formulas to calculate projected traffic?

Posting Facebook Page Updates to Twitter with an RSS Feed

To get a Facebook page to post Tweets to Twitter

Facebook page you’ll get an RSS link, provided by Facebook, that lists all your updates.

With this RSS feed use  Twitterfeed.com to automatically post to Facebook wall updates to Twitter.

Twitterfeed will check my Facebook RSS feed every half hour.

So to sum it all up, update your Facebook page status and Twitter all at the same time with only one post:

Login to the Facebook page account and on the left-hand side of the site you’ll see “Subscribe via RSS”.

Click this to get the RSS hyperlink from your browser’s address bar.

Setup an account on Twitterfeed.com and create a new Feed using the RSS hyperlink you got from your Facebook page.

Helpful hints:

When you’re setting up the Feed on Twitterfeed, under the Advanced Settings:

Under Post Content change this to Description Only. If you leave it to description and title, the tweet will be duplicated. For instance, say you updated the Facebook page status to say “Android Rules!” Twitterfeed would automatically copy it to Twitter account like this: “Android Rules! : Android Rules!”

Is your showing an Unranked Google Page Rank?

Here’s the Shortcut to the issue with the Unranked Google PageRank in your browser .

Being as curious as I am, I was intrigued when I discovered that everybody had an Unranked Google Page Rank.

And then I thought Google was up to something…

And they were, but not what I thought or was hoping for (or at least they aren’t playing those cards yet).

I started looking under rocks and this is what turned up:

According to Search Engine Land Google changed the lookup URL for the Google Page Rank tool and the Third Party Toolbars have not updated their scripts which is giving the false reading of an .

But you know who LOVE’s Google more??? Google… and is why it’s an SEO Management Tool. Anytime Google gives you the opportunity to get some Google Love – take it!

Today there is a huge Buzz on the Internet about Google’s new release of the Google or

They have Circles, and Sparks, and Hangouts, Huddles and Instant Uploads.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAyUNI3_V2c

so the Circles are for sharing ease – you put people in different circles according to how you’d like to share information with them…

  • a friend circle (cause you tell them more than you tell others)
  • a family circle (cause you only tell them what you want to know)
  • a following circle (just cause your a stalker and don’t really know this person)
  • an acquaintance circle (cause you met them through a friend of a friend or at a party, or at work and just don’t want to share that much with them and of course it would be rude not to acknowledge that you have met and know they exist)
  • create your own circle (because sometimes you just want to label people with your own words)

Sparks are for sharing videos and articles – like this one (hint, hint – the +1 is at the top and bottom for your Google Plus Pleasure)

Keywords Ranking Analysis – How Do Your Metrics Compare?

Knowing your metrics is the easiest way to expand…

Have you done your keywords ranking analysis?

If you know what’s working you can do more of it and if you know what’s not working you can stop..

which reminds me of a joke…

This guy, we’ll call him Jeffrey…

Jeffrey kept complaining that every place he touched on his body hurt really really bad – he complained and complained…

His wife, intelligent, patient, woman that she is, finally got tired of listening to him and made an appointment with Jeffrey’s doctor.

So, Jeffrey got to the doctor’s office and back to the exam room… the doctor came in and asked what the problem was?

Jeffrey said there must be something horribly wrong with me, I must be dying… everywhere I touch on my body has excruciating pain.

The doctor said, show me where it hurts.

Then Jeffrey started pointing and said it hurts here, “ouch” and here, “ouch” and here, “ouch”…

The doctor said, Jeffrey, your not gonna die and in fact I’ll have you fixed up in no time…

Jeffrey asked, what’s the diagnosis Doc?

Doc said…. your finger is broke!

Ya, ya corny – I know icon smile Keywords Ranking Analysis How Do Your Metrics Compare?

and the lesson in the joke is, truly know what’s broken and fix it.

Google Analytics Benchmarking Newsletter
2011, Volume 1, July 2011
analytics logo Keywords Ranking Analysis How Do Your Metrics Compare?

1. Introduction

Welcome to the first volume of the Analytics Benchmarking Newsletter!

This month, we are replacing the standard “benchmarking” report in your Google Analytics account with data shared in this newsletter. We are using this newsletter as an experiment to surface more useful or interesting data to Analytics users. Data contained here comes from all websites which have opted-in anonymous data sharing with Google Analytics. Only those website administrators which have enabled this anonymous data sharing will receive this “benchmarking” newsletter.

You may be wondering, how many websites are in this “anonymous data sharing” pool? Currently, hundreds of thousands, and we’ve endeavored to make all of the metrics here statistically significant.

The date range of comparison for this newsletter is from November 1, 2010 – February 1, 2011. Comparison is done with data from November 1, 2009 – February 1, 2010. Absolute metrics such as total # visits, pageviews, or conversions for all opted-in websites are not reported.

To simplify the prose, the phrase “websites” will represent “websites which have opted into anonymous data sharing with Google Analytics” for the rest of this newsletter.

2. Site Metrics

Compared to a year ago, websites have seen reduced pages / visit, average time on site, as well as bounce rate.

11/1/09 – 2/1/10 11/1/10 – 2/1/11 Difference
Pages/Visit 4.9 4.5 -0.4
Bounce Rate 48.2% 47.0% -1.2%
Avg Time on Site 5:49 5:23 -0:26

2.1 Breakdown by Geography

Our anonymous database has aggregated geographic breakdown at the country level. Here are a few representative countries and their respective aggregate metrics. The first number in each cell represents the metric for the date range 11/1/10-2/1/11. The parenthesized number is the Year over Year delta compared to a year ago.

Country Pages / Visit Bounce Rate Avg Time on Site
United States 4.7 (-0.1) 42.5% (-6.1%) 6:06 (-0:10)
United Kingdom 4.9 (-0.3) 41.5% (+0.2%) 5:38 (-0.27)
France 4.4 (-0.4) 49.7% (.4%) 4:40 (-0:08)
Brazil 4.1 (-0.1) 47.8% (-2.9%) 5:20 (+0:03)

Japan 3.9 (-0.1) 48.6% (-9.0%) 3:47 (-2:59)

For bounce rate, the distribution by country is plotted below: bouncerate bycountry Keywords Ranking Analysis How Do Your Metrics Compare? The distribution above is annotated with some countries — which seem to indicate a story of leisure and stage of economic development. For a related metric: average time on site, the distribution by country is plotted below: timeonsite bycountry Keywords Ranking Analysis How Do Your Metrics Compare? The type of countries annotated in the average time on site graph above seem to be in reverse order as those in the bounce rate distribution.

2.2 Breakdown by Traffic Sources

Traffic sources below are identified by how the “source” and “medium”"” parameters are received by the Google Analytics collecting servers. Here is an article describing what these designations refer to.

Traffic Sources Pages / Visit Bounce Rate Avg Time on Site
Direct 4.0 (-0.5) 47.2% (-4.0%) 5:21 (-0:07)

Dalai Lama Uses Twitter Social Networking to Circumvent Chinese Government

first published May 2010 – but still fascinating

Uses to Circumvent Chinese Government

The Dalai Lama, having only been a Twitter user since late February 2010, is already using the platform to circumvent Chinese censorship. Today the Tibetan spiritual leader held a one-hour question-and-answer session via Twitter to respond to questions submitted by Chinese web users.

The chat was hosted by Chinese writer Wang Lixiong who met with the Dalai Lama in a New York hotel room. The Dalai Lama’s responses were translated by a Chinese interpreter and tweeted on Lixiong’s Twitter account. A translated portion of the conversation from Lixiong’s Twitter profile can be seen below.Dalai Lama uses Social Networking Twitter

The Twitter chat was a strategic maneuver on behalf of Wang and the Dalai Lama to communicate directly with the Chinese people despite long-time opposition from Chinese officials.

According to the AFP’s report, “Nearly 12,000 people selected the 250 questions by online voting done on a Google Moderator site, which was blocked in China on Thursday.”

Another report writes that, “the Dalai Lama tweeted messages of criticism about the Chinese government’s policies in Tibet and words of welcome to Chinese citizens.”

It’s not known how many Chinese people were able to follow the tweets as Twitter is blocked in China. Still there are an estimated 150,000 people in China who use Twitter, and access to the Dalai Lama’s responses were accessible via third-party Twitter applications.

Looking For A List Of Keyboard Shortcuts?

Are you looking for a list of keyboard shortcuts, well good for you!

As a Technology Coach, I get to meet people who are learning to use the computer and Internet, who are at many different levels of their learning process.

One of the things people could do to make their time more efficient and effective is to learn the .list of keyboard shortcuts image 01 300x225 Looking For A List Of Keyboard Shortcuts?

I have one student, who remain nameless, but you know who you are, S——-r icon wink Looking For A List Of Keyboard Shortcuts? who uses a laptop.

I can hear him clicking on his touchpad, and I told him if he would go get a mouse things would be a lot quicker and easier for him.

A few weeks went by, still clicking away on the touchpad… I said to him, “haven’t you got a mouse yet?”

He asked me how I knew… I said to him, “I hear you clicking over there.”

He replied, “I know, I’ve been meaning to get a mouse like you said.” so I let him slide…

A few more weeks went by, still clicking… I said “you haven’t found your way to the store yet, ya know they sell them online and will deliver them to your door.”  He just laughed and said he would go get one.

So last week, he said to me “I wished I would have gotten a mouse sooner, it’s so much easier, like you said.”

When you are using a mouse, most people use it with their right hand, leaving your left hand free to complete the keyboard shortcuts. If you will, stop what you are doing and look at where your hands are right now, I bet your right hand is on the mouse and your left hand is waiting for something to do icon smile Looking For A List Of Keyboard Shortcuts?

When people watch me work on a computer, many times they find it hard to keep up and get confused (not when I am teaching thou – we take it slow). And a lot of the speed is do to the shortcuts I use and that I will share with you in this post series.

So my partner in prosperity at , Megan – The Powerhouse, assigned you homework in her first post to you and I am going to do the same here.

First, if you don’t have a mouse, go get one!!! Not next week, tomorrow. If you are using the excuse that you don’t have the money – skip lunch a couple days this week. (I’m a Tech Coach – not a Nutritionist)

The time you save by implementing shortcuts is more time you can be spending on things you really want to do… or more time with your family and friends…

So Go Click Here to add this to your Google Reader (another time saving shortcut) and in no time flat you will have a list of keyboard shortcuts.

And here is your first couple of keyboard shortcuts:

Control (bottom left of your keyboard) + c = will copy whatever you have highlighted to your clipboard.

Control (bottom left of your keyboard) + v = will paste whatever you have copied from your clipboard.

Don’t use the highlight, right click, select copy/paste method it takes waaaay to long.

Highlight, Control+C

Highlight, Control+V

This is your homework assignment. Practice Control+C and Control+V… copy… paste… copy… paste…

It’s Easy as Pi!

See ya next week for your next keyboard shortcut… but don’t stay away that long Megan is a hoot and you’ll want to read her stuff too!!!
